Suggestions for activities related with animation and examples of educational practices, which have as their starting point the screening of films from the Digital Film Library.


A new section in our Digital Film Library are Tutorials – short films, that introduce various topics related with cinema, construction of optical toys and stop-motion:

Watching a film with a group is an opportunity to develop participants' observation and argumentation skills through oral, written, and visual forms of expression as well as to create a space for sharing opinions regarding different issues related with the content of the film. In addition to discussion and reflection, it can bring an opportunity to develop new perspectives on the topics that can be expressed through new works of art (paintings, sculptures, installations, books, among others) or performative acts (dance, theater, music, etc.).
